Seek first to understand and then...to be understood
I’m a behavioral health therapist devoted to helping individuals and families learn how to navigate life’s ups and downs while recognizing and challenging their deeply held belief systems. I received my master’s degree in social work from Boise State University and focus my practice on targeting unhealthy behaviors, habits, and patterns around anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, etc. by bringing them back to a natural balance. I have spent time working with a variety of ages as a school-based therapist and also with victims of trauma and sexual abuse utilizing EMDR methods and practices as well as acceptance and commitment therapy. I believe in taking a collaborative and eclectic approach to helping clients reach their goals.
I’m passionate about providing a variety of resources and tools for children, teens and adults struggling with individual or family dynamic issues. I also recognize the impact of past traumas and how it can often define and hold us hostage to our belief systems.
If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation with me, please send an appointment request.
